The 2010 Faces of Jesmond calendar is now available to buy for £4 from the Jesmond Library on St George’s Terrace.

The Jesmond Community Forum and Newcastle City Council launched its second annual photographic competition earlier this year. The competition asked photographers to create photographs which best interpreted the theme “Faces and Jesmond”.

The winning entries from the competition would put together the 2010 “Faces of Jesmond” calendar, which can now be seen on the shelves of the Jesmond Library.

The “Faces of Jesmond” calendar features pictures from all around Jesmond, taken by local people, including the “Jesmond Pool”, the “2009 Jesmond Community Festival” and the “Jesmond Cinema”.

The calendar includes important dates such as the “Jesmond community forum meetings”, the “Jesmond community festival”, and the “Jesmond Primary School term dates”.
