2. THE CHERRY TREE

Opened just last year, this restaurant boasts modern moods and trendy styles. The menu speaks extravagance… but with a festive touch: fig chutney… gingerbread ice cream…mmm. Until Christmas Eve, you can enjoy two mouth-watering courses at only £18.50 or £22 for a third.

3. AS YOU LIKE IT

Situated on Archbold Terrace, this large venue includes four spectacular bars and three spacious floors, not to mention some excellent, home-made cooking. For a really special office Christmas lunch, there are private dining rooms available to book, day or night.

The menu takes you through British flavours, but with an international twist, such as the appetising Moroccan vegetable tagine or Paris mash. Then you can treat yourself to a comforting winter berry cheesecake or luscious champagne sorbet.

Three courses start at £19.95 or pay an extra £3 for another, fourth yummy portion. The owners kindly express their gratitude to the party organizer by giving away a free bottle of bubbly along with a generous £20 food voucher to dine with them again.

4. LOUIS’

Louis’ is located in the centre of Osborne Road, where diners are surrounded by a range of contemporary images. If you’re looking for a Christmas lunch with classic ambience and a spark of elegance, Louis’ could be the one.

The lunch deal is a slightly more expensive price of £25 for three courses, but you’ll be treated to praline-creamed crepes, chestnut gravy and pheasant wellington – a deluxe alterantive to the conventional Christmas fayre.
