Open air theatre in Jesmond – tonight!
Warwickshire based theatre company Heartbreak Productions opens its summer season of open-air performances this evening at 6.30pm on St George’s Green in Jesmond.
Heartbreak kicks off the season with five performances of The Secret Garden, Frances Hodgson Burnett’s tale of a young orphaned girl who finds the key to friendship and happiness by unlocking her uncle’s secret garden. The company says it is suitable for all who believe in magic, especially children aged six years and above.
From July 28th for four evenings at 7.30pm Heartbreak will be performing a play written especially for Heartbreak, Love in Shakespeare, before finishing their time in Jesmond with Oscar Wilde’s An Ideal Husband, which will run from August 5th to 8th.
You can book tickets now via Heartbreak’s website or at Northern Stage Box Office on 0191 230 5151. Groups of six or more get a 20% discount off their ticket prices.
