Spooky happenings in Jesmond orchard
No ghosts or ghouls, but a genuine Jesmond witch is coming to Jesmond Community Orchard on Sunday 24th October at 1.30pm to tell spooky stories.
Afterwards families can join in the Halloween crafts, including making masks, carving pumpkins and making bat and bird boxes. You are invited to wear your own costumes and bring along an extra pumpkin if you have one.
The small fruit trees are not even a year old yet, so there’s no fruit to pick yet, but there are other tasks to be done in the orchard, ready for more planting in the winter.
