Open evening at the New Northumbria Hotel
The New Northumbria Hotel on Osborne Road
Following extensive refurbishments, the New Northumbria Hotel and its sister bars and restaurants will be showcasing their venues with an open networking evening on 26th July.
Hotel staff say the evening will be informal, with guests invited to sample food and drink as well as network.
Attendees will be greeted with champagne and canapés on arrival and be shown the new refurbishments around the hotel.
According to New Northumbria manager Jackie Hargreaves, the hotel’s guest rooms have been transformed into new Luxe Boutique and Suite Boutique rooms.
The other venues open to guests include Osbornes Bar, The Kitchen @ Osbornes, Scalini’s and Louis’.
Jamie Logan, manager at The Kitchen, told JesmondLocal: “Every venue will have a little taster on of what they have to offer.”
Osbornes will be providing guests with cocktail samples while the hotel and Scalini’s will offer tasters from their menus.
Logan says that The Kitchen’s taster dishes on offer during the evening will focus on local produce.
The Kitchen @ Osbornes, which opened on 30th May 2012, is the latest addition to the New Northumbria’s enterprises.
