While the big music retailers are shutting down high street stores, Oxfam Books & Music is marching to a different beat by opening a new music room today.

According to shop manager Katie Liddle, the shop on St George’s Terrace now stocks 1,200 vinyl records, 1,000 CDs, 200 DVDs and 150 games.
