Comic fans united as Oxfam Books & Music hosted their third Comic Book Weekender in Jesmond on November 2nd and 3rd. The event attracted enthusiasts from everywhere in Newcastle. Shop manager, Katie Liddle, concludes that it was as much of a success as the previous two years’, and looks forward to organising a forth Comic Book Weekender. Dave Hall, an avid comic book collector, assured JesmondLocal that he will come back “in bells” for Oxfam’s next event.
