Police are still seeking thieves who stole a grey Skoda Fabia from a house in Highbury in Jesmond in September.

Intruders entered the property on 22 September and stole the keys to the car which was later recovered on Chillingham Road in Heaton.

Northumbria Police have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to interview.

The man was in the Chillingham Road area when the vehicle was abandoned, and may be able to help with the investigation.

Anybody who has information about the crime, or recognises the man shown is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 592 05/10/19 or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
