Yesterday a few volunteers gathered at the Jesmond Community Orchard to plant three new trees. Started in 2009, the Community Orchard provides an area for the benefit of the community, encouraging people to get involved in preparation, planting and harvesting.  The three new trees include a Morello Cherry, a Golden Nugget apple tree, and another apple tree for wall-training, Lord Lambourne.
