Jesmond dentists Onkar Dhanoya and Gulshan Dhanoya picked up the Dental Team of the Year 2019 award at the recent Dental Awards 2019. The duo, who run the Honour Health practice on Osborne Road, were the only team from the north east to be selected for the finals.

Principal dentist Onkar Dhanoya was also a finalist in the Dentist of the Year category, his colleague Caroline Short was shortlisted for Therapist of the Year, and Honour Health was a finalist in the Practice of the Year category.

“This is a huge achievement for our team and we’re thrilled to have been recognised for our dedication to helping our patients achieve smiles they love,” said Onkar Dhanoya. “We are so proud to be the only dental group to fly the flag for the north east on this prestigious national stage. Well done to our excellent dentists, therapists, nurses, receptionists and management team, and a big thank you to our patients who make coming to work such a pleasure for all of us.” Honour Health also runs practices in Ponteland and Stanley.

The award ceremony was hosted at The Hilton Metropole NEC in Birmingham. The Dental Awards, now in their 20th year, are judged by a panel of dental experts and opinion leaders within their respective fields, representing a broad range of disciplines and dental associations.
