A beauty business offering treatments, its own range of products and professional training has expanded into Jesmond.

Allure Beauty Salon & Training Academy opened its Jesmond Road branch in September 2023, offering treatments including manicures, pedicures and brow and lash treatments.

Owner Melissa Wright told JesmondLocal that the business also uses its own brand of beauty products both in its salons and as part of its professional training. “You name it, if it’s beauty, we do it,” she said.

Chloe Henderson, team leader at the Jesmond branch, said working with customers was one of the most rewarding parts of the job. “I enjoy connecting with clients, helping them feel confident and beautiful, and seeing the joy our treatments bring to their day,” she said.

As well as its Jesmond salon, Allure Beauty has a second location in Hebburn, where it runs training courses and workshops on Sundays for students hoping to become beauty technicians.
