From tonight, Jesmond Dene House Hotel begins a series of once-a-month jazz evenings in its Great Hall offering guests the chance to thoroughly unwind after a busy week while they sample fine food and music.

Taking centre stage tonight is a swinging five piece, the Paul James Band performing some of the best tunes from the great American songbook, and featuring acclaimed vocalist Laura Adams. They may even tempt you onto the dance floor.

The evening starts at 7.30pm with live music commencing from 8.00pm, costing £38.50 per person. Special offers for overnight stays include £230 per couple for supper, bed and full English breakfast.
