Jesmond student Scott McKenzie has completed the first part of a gruelling charity challenge to raise money for clean water charity Dig Deep.

Having completed his cycle ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End, McKenzie is now bound for Tanzania, where he will attempt to complete the second part of his mission: climbing Mount Kilimanjaro

The Newcastle University banking and finance undergraduate sat down with JesmondLocal to tell us how his fundraising effort is going so far.
