The judging panel included local councillors Bob Walker and Catherine Pagan, photographer Henry Aarvold and the Forum’s own Jonathan Scott.

Amongst the prizes were books of local interest, provided by Tyne Bridge Publishing, Newcastle City Libraries; and a half day’s specialist photography training with Aarvold.

The 12 best photographs submitted in the competition will be used in the 2011 Jesmond Calendar, which will be available from Jesmond Library later in November.
